Description

The ThinkPad series has long been considered the hands-down best line of laptops ever designed. IBM built these to be sturdy, lightweight, functional powerhouses with full sized keyboards.

Since 2005, Lenovo has purchased the IBM personal computer division, but it's the same team of engineers, so there's no loss of quality in design/performance.

Interesting trivia: NASA only uses ThinkPads. Right now, there are dozens of ThinkPads floating around earth in the International Space Station.

    - magnesium-alloy chassis, case, and roll-cage are super tough but very light
    - most have 2 drainage holes for spills; spill-proof keyboards!
    - exceptionally well designed hardware
